This is a laser engraved burl cork handle with Titanium Nitride hardware and a burl eucalyptus insert for the reel seat. Your name can be laser engraved on any cork handle for $15.

This is the handle from a 10’6” 3WT with Silicon Carbide single foot guides. This is my rod that I use when I fish my local trophy lake for trout up to 26” with 2lb tippets.

These are the new holographic Titanium Nitride guides from American Tackle. This rod is still in the process of being built as a 4-piece 7 foot 6” spin/fly rod. This means it will have a reversible handle for either spin fishing with up to 6 lb test or as a 4WT fly rod. The wraps were done with metallic rainbow thread. In the next couple of days I will be posting more pictures of this rod where you can see the colors on the thread.

These guides are available as spinning guides, casting guides and single foot fly guides. Although I haven’t tried it I have been told by the people at American Tackle that you can take a file to these guides and all you’ll do is dull your file. Possibly the most beautiful guides made!
